Hello and welcome to my website! I am an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychology, which is part of the College of Sciences at San Diego State University (SDSU). I serve as Associate Chair of the Psychology Department and have served in this position since 2017.
I received a B.A. in Psychology and Biology from the University of Virginia and then an M.S. and Ph.D. in Industrial and Organizational (I-O) Psychology from Penn State.
I am a faculty member in the M.S. Program in I-O Psychology (Applied Area) at SDSU. I teach undergraduate courses in I-O Psychology (PSY 319) and Personality Psychology (PSY 351) as well as a graduate seminar in Industrial Psychology (PSY 621). Current students can access course materials using Canvas. I regularly review for I-O Psychology, Personality, and Management journals. I currently serve on the Editorial Board of the journal Human Performance.
